If you choose to join us, you’ll be stepping into a community that’s growing slowly and intentionally – woman by woman, conversation by conversation.
You’ll also be part of weaving the deeper magic of what this collective is truly about. Which is this:
A movement of women reclaiming our voices and stepping into our creative power with aliveness and joy – becoming ever more radiant, sovereign, irrepressible forces for change in our lives, work, and leadership.
A movement of women who want to join hands in this great adventure! Where we dance past perfectionism, and fear and doubt (that our culture perpetuates in so many ways) – and let delight itself be our rebellion!
An adventure where we allow the magic of who we are, our inner knowing, our full-spectrum humanity, our undeniable power – to be unearthed like divine treasure, flowing through our fingertips into everything we touch.
A movement of women who know that we’re meant to walk through our everyday lives as Goddesses: whole, here for a reason, embodying our deep truth and expressing it vibrantly and fully in all that we do.
Women who know that tending to our life-force, our creativity, our joy – is fuel, it is medicine, it is part of how we rise.
Women who know that every word we write, every truth we speak, is an act of reclamation – of ourselves, and of what’s possible.
As the world becomes more isolated, more distracted, more anxious, more despairing – the need for us to be fully in our creative power feels ever more urgent.
In the words of one woman who has been part of this since it began, in its earliest iteration in the summer of 2024:

What you’ll receive as a member
The Joy-Led Creativity Collective™ is a community space where we are each invited to step ever more fully into our radiance, creative power and embodied presence – in service of the change we are here to create in the world.
(My short definition of creative power: our capacity to affect meaningful change in ways that make us feel wholly and completely alive)
The form it takes will evolve as I continue to tune into the spirit of the work. I’m following joy and where she leads! What I do know with bone-deep certainty is this: stepping in now, together, will nourish and transform us – and reveal more of what wants to come alive as we journey side by side.
Right now, three things are on offer:
✨1) The Heartbeat: Writing as a portal
The intimate, spacious, transformative writing circle format (over Zoom) where this work began remains the heartbeat of this offering. If you’re new to this practice, you can find a fuller description of the experience here.
As a member, you’ll belong to one monthly ‘home circle’ (with no more than six women) – your seat there is reserved, with no need to book.
If you can’t make your home circle one month, you’ll have the option to join another circle that same month (if space allows). There is currently a choice of three home circles. The dates and times for each are here. Dates will always be available six months in advance.
As our numbers grow, more circles will open – widening the circle of voices, deepening the current of creativity, and carrying our collective energy further into the world.
The potency of this work flows in many ways – but this feels central:
The practice of writing together, and sharing with one another, is a portal. A portal into who we truly are and who we’re becoming. As we write for ourselves, and share our voice, held by the sacred energy of the group, our bodies and souls remember that we are seen and safe. That experience frees us, little by little, and makes it more possible to embody our truth more fully in the context of our lives.
By curating a space with continuity through the ‘home circle’ model – gathering with many of the same women each month – the transformation and creative freedom possible will expand exponentially.
There is also power in the rhythm this offers. The dates in our diaries – an expansive ‘non-negotiable’ – is an antidote to the cleverly disguised resistance that inevitably arises as we expand into the fullness of who we truly are. The practice becomes a launch point – a place where what begins in circle carries outward into our work, our relationships, and the way we move through the world.
These sessions will not be recorded, but you’ll receive the prompts, whether you are able to join live or not – so you can write in your own private practice.
✨2) A Circle Between Circles: An online space for connection and integration
What amplifies the power of this work is the women it calls in. Our shared online space enables that to radiate into our lives and work more fully. A place where beautiful collaborations, connections, and (creative) breakthroughs emerge in abundance!
Imagine sharing a challenge you’re facing and being met with deep listening and presence, rather than quick fixes or platitudes. Imagine celebrating a breakthrough – and the circle of women around you amplifying the joy and aliveness you feel. Imagine the insight, the connection, the shifts, the energy that could flow from that – rippling out into your everyday life.
This space is a way to stay connected between circles, attuning more deeply to our creative spirits and following where that takes us. In my own journey, sharing what’s emerging in an intimate, contained online space – and being witnessed as I do – has given me the courage and energy to carry my voice and creations out into the world more widely.
And while I see the power of an online space, I also know the overwhelm of too many digital places. What has already been co-created is something different – something that feels like an extension of our circle practice. Something that truly nourishes, supports and enlivens us.
This is hosted in a private Facebook group, and in time may move to its own dedicated membership platform.
✨3) Inspiring gatherings, workshops, and guided practices – all designed to ignite and expand our creative power and connect us more deeply with one another and the change we’re here to usher in
This part of the offering is an unashamedly exuberant joy-led experiment! 😍
A permission slip – for me and for you – to try new things, all in service of our creative expression, and expanding life-force!
I have many ideas bubbling! And you being here, as part of this community, is the structure I need to bring them into form.
What do I have in mind? Guided practices, workshops, guest speakers/teachers, co-working time, and even a joy-led dance club. Yes! Connecting with the delicious wisdom that lives in our bodies! Integrating music and movement, with my creative process, is something I do daily – and the experience of sharing with this group gave me the best kind of tingles!) In March 26 we held our first spoken-word show!
Generally, one event will be offered each month. The days and times will vary each month, so that women in different timezones can join live. And if you can’t make it live, my vision is that you might gather with other members and watch the recording together, turning it into your own mini-circle!
We live in a culture that drowns us in content – always more to read, to scroll, to consume. But what our souls long for isn’t more information to process. It’s more aliveness. Presence. Depth. Space.
Like the writing circles, these gatherings are portals – joy-led experiments where we step into communion with ourselves and one another. Where we gather in real time, drop into our bodies, and let curiosity and delight nourish us. Each time we meet, we’re on a quest – to hear what else is longing to be born through this Collective, and through each of us.
If the writing circle is the main course, this is the apple crumble and ice cream. Yes please! (Yep: Heart beats and main courses, I’m mixing my metaphors 😍)
“What often surprises me is what actually lands on the page. It's like a release valve for things I didn't know I needed to express or could not have otherwise found the words.
Afterwards, what remains is a sense that I've been safely held by the broad, strong, and divinely feminine arms of the collective group. I carry that along with me for days. It’s one of the very few places I show up as myself and feel both seen and heard.
Since joining the circle, my sense of myself as a creative being has been excavated from the depths.
I believe The Circle is here to bring us closer to our real selves, to build our sense of belonging to ourselves and to a bigger community of women. It feels like one of those untold things that pass down through the generations of women that we've just somehow lost connection with.”
Becoming a founding member of The Joy-Led Creativity Collective
As a founding member, you’ll be stepping into the opening chapter of an evolving movement – co-creating a space where women reclaim our voices, expand our creative power, and forge new paths of possibility with courage, joy, and truth.
Founding membership is £50 per month.
The invitation is to join for a minimum of six months, though there is no formal contract. If at any point you need to step out, I simply ask for one month’s notice.
Once the Collective reaches around 18 women, I anticipate retiring the founding-member pricing for new members.
In summer 2026, I’ll review pricing with the whole community in mind – tuning into how the Collective is growing, what new possibilities are emerging, and what feels most alive and aligned for our next chapter together.

About Claire
Claire Mackinnon is a transformational coach, creative catalyst, and women’s leadership guide devoted to supporting women to step into their creative power – so they can bring forward the change only they can make.
Before founding her business in 2015, Claire spent 15 years leading large-scale organisational transformation across financial services and the social impact sector – including senior roles at Barclays and as Director of HR for one of the UK’s largest social housing mergers.
An ICF PCC-certified coach with more than 2,000 hours of coaching and facilitation experience, she has supported hundreds of leaders across industries including technology, retail, professional services, and education – as well as an ever-growing community of mission-led women entrepreneurs.
